Transgender Day of Remembrance

Every November, the Pride Inclusivity network hosts a memorial service for Transgender Day of Remembrance to remember and honor transgender lives lost due to transphobic violence and hate. Our memorial service consists of student, faculty, and staff speakers who talk about various issues within the transgender community. The event also includes music typically performed by our university’s acapella group and ends with a prayer. This is a non-denominational service that is open to everyone.
